12th Annual Community Pow Wow
The Native American Heritage Month Community Pow-wow is a part of a community effort to share our culture with everyone. To bring all our tribes together to sing, to dance, renew old friendships, make new friends, and preserve our culture.
Participants dance in a blessed arena with many appropriate songs: religious, war and social. Being a part of the arena with other natives from various tribes in traditional, colorful regalia with beautiful beadwork, and dancing to the beat of the drum with the strong harmonizing voices brings wonderful feelings. It’s a way of life.
We also have Native American Arts & Crafts vendors, delicious food being served, and Information booths from various organizations sharing about their services, programs and events.
Everyone welcome to attend! Open to public. No entry fee, no parking fee.
